We continue to have a number of people who wish to help, even though it violates Marketplace rules. (http://guides.macrumors.com/Help:Marketplace_Rules)

It's nice to confirm that the seller is indeed trustworthy, but in doing so, you are bumping the seller's thread and this could cause premature deletion.

Also, those who feel the need to offer price advice such as "oh, that's way too high" or "you can get that on [link] much cheaper" are still unnecessary. Yes, it's great to watch out for people, but people are not forced to buy and they should make up their own minds. If you really feel someone is getting into danger buying something, you should leave a Private Message.

Thanks for your cooperation!

I would also add that any off-topic or chatty comments that are not relevant to the sale will be deleted on sight.

Why? Because they unnecessarily bump the thread at the expense of other people's sales. The Marketplace is not a forum for conversation; it is a place where our members can make deals. Anything surplus to that ruins the usefulness of the forum to other people.
