Nope...... the B&W's use a ZIF-socketed CPU, and the G4's use a modular plug-in socket..... :)

I might be interested in the CPU ... do you (or anyone?) know offhand if that chip'll work in a 133MHz bus Digital Audio? (See sig)

I'll have to research this a little bit I think.

Yes, the chip will work in a G4-DA. It will work in all G4 models, except the first model with a ZIF Socket.

Hey there, careful about that... the G4-DA does not have the +12V on terminal #4 required when using a QS processor.

It can be done, but requires a bit of soldering (AccelerateyourMac) has articles regarding. Not hard at all really, but not plug n play.

Huuummmm.........I've never heard of this issue, (not saying it isn't real) but I do know that the majority of CPU upgrades (including the one I bought from OWC) for the QS's also list compatibility with the DA's & vice versa....... ???

Retail cards are built with the +12V lead in mind, OEM cards (which this appears to be?) do not work in DA's, or AGP's natively.

I have a DA with a QS cpu (800MHz) works perfectly, but you MUST do the 'mod' or the DA wont even chime.

edit: and i would trade you straight up for the 867! :)
