No, this is a new one, it is extended version and has a lot of the same footage as the other trailer though.

Nope, this is totally different.

I have seen both and I have also seen it, but then there was also another trailer which me and my friends have seen which was 30-1 Min long and left much to be asked, personally I think the movie place screwed up or something...

I got this from BitTorrent a little while ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if the trailer that was run after Reloaded is used as a TV ad, it was only about 40 seconds tops.

Just noticed something! At the very bottom of the main page www.whatisthematrix.com

You have to make sure and go ALL the way to the bottom and there is an image called

Now I know what that means but I don't know how to take the into and enact it into the hex area that I just learnd yesterday thanks to "000111one111000" also known as enoch -- if youre reading this enoch or anyone who can help, please do so (help). Thanks. Below is the actual image.

My French swearing isn't very good yet, so I am waiting for the DVD release, then on come the subtitles and off to my massive Collins Robert dictionary to learn some choice phrases! I noticed from the clip that the Merovingian and Persephone are back in this movie. Also, the voice over is done by Mary Alice, who plays the Oracle in "Enter the Matrix."

For Bograt, in Reloaded, the Merovingian said "Don't you love the French language? I have sampled every language, French is my favorite. Fantastic language. Especially to curse with. Nom de dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperie de connard d'enculé de ta mère. It's like wiping your ass with silk, I love it."

no actually just all the other hovercrafts that were out patrolling, or whatever, were destroyed. the machines never actually fully busted into zion in Reloaded.

Q:Why did Neo seemingly stop the Sentinels?
A:He didn't stop them, the machines stopped the sentinels. You didn't think that the machines were stupid enough to kill their only chance of rebooting the matrix and stopping Smith did you?

Q:Why does Neo faint at the end?
A:Neo is trapped inside the Matrix after coming into contact with the source (this is confirmed) The blip in the trailer of him waking up is when he wakes up back inside the Matrix.

Q:Who were the past 'ones'?
A:The past ones are the Agents. They, like Neo, became trapped within the Matrix after coming into contact with the source. They willingly rebooted the Matrix and became "agents" of the system that they ended up preserving.

Q:Why is Smith such a bastard?
A:Smith is probably the most recent one. He has a bit of a nasty streak towards the other AI since he is understandably still pissed off over being duped. Unlike the ones before him Smith was already unbalanced when he was forced to reboot the Matrix and being forced to serve the AI has only helped his insanity.

Q:Will Neo come back out of the Matrix?
A:Yes, he still has a body to go back to.

Q:Will Neo just continue the cycle?
A:No, the cycle is out of whack due to the Smith factor.

Q:So what does happen?
A:Smith will most likely spread outside the Matrix even more. He has already infected Bane and now he will spread to the machines on the outside to exact revenge. Neo will be the only thing in his way and will save the Humans and the Machines in the process.

Q:What about Bane?
A:He will get in a scuff with Neo on board the Logos and will blind Neo in the process.

Q:Who will die in Revolutions?
A:The Wachowski Bros. have said repeatedly that Reloaded is about life and Revolutions is about death. Don't expect to see Trinity make it to the end credits.

Q:What will happen to the Matrix?
A:The true nature of the Matrix will be revealed to those inside it. They will be faced with the choice of staying inside or going into the real world. The Matrix Online videogame is set after Revolutions and invloves battles between humans who want to escape to the outside world (Zionists) and those who want to remain inside the Matrix. There are also Agents running around in the game. It is safe to assume that the AI back off to some degree by the end of Revolutions.

that was some sweet rampant speculation :D but i see a few faults, besides you sounding completely sure about yourself!

fistly, i dont think the "agents = previous 'ones' " thing makes much sense. for one why would they all lose most of their powers from being the one previously. secondly, why would they be so surprised at neos powers at the end of the first movie. idk, they seem to oblivious and robotic to be previous superhuman neo-like ass kickers!

secondly, for some reason i dont see trinity dying, mainly cause she practically kicked the can in the second one.

thirdly, where in gods name did you pull the "neo will get blinded by bane" thing from?!?! im curious as to what leads you to believe this...?

and last but not least, i dont totally agree with your idea that the machines made those sentinels conk out at the end of reloaded when neo put his hand up. if the machines had caused that, then id think the sentinels would just stop and turn around or something. i think neo definitely had some sort of direct effect on the shutdown of those sentinels. also you didnt mention that he faints RIGHT after he stops those sentinels, so those two things have to tie into each other somehow.

just some food for thought to keep our minds busy until the movie finally comes out. :)

Most of the Agent's former powers would have been regulated. The system does not want to completly impede the new One from completing it's task nor does it need the possibility of a Smith situation arising. The Agents were regulated to prevent someone like Smith from coming along, Neo leaping into Smith and changing him was something unforseen which is why the Agents look so startled. It's possible that they were a little surprised that Neo was the One and may not have been expecting it. If you remember after they realise that Neo is the One they just seem more annoyed then anything and Smith makes remarks like "it's happening just like before." The concept of the One was not new to them at all.

Each One ends up willingly reboting the Matrix. In the process they meet the Source and get sucked into the Matrix.. It is very likely that their bodies outside are destroyed so they are forever in the Matrix. When they reboot the Matrix they must have a damn compelling reason to do so considering they are willing to essentially betray the human race. This reason may be so compelling that they want to see the process continue so the system integrates them into a niche where they can monitor and move things along for the next One. The solution? Make them an Agent.

The Agents are in a predicament, they lost their humanity when they came into the contact with the Source. They are not truly Human nor are they truly AI and have some contempt for both. Smith is simply the extreme of all the Agent's views towards Humans and their AI overlords.

I'm only basing my comment on Trinity on the Wachowski Bros' Life/Death comment. They might spring for the happy ending but someone will die by the end of Revolutions.

I also think that annoying kid who pesters Neo in Reloaded will die.

The Neo/Bane thing is based on observations from the trailer that show
A) Neo struggling with Bane holding one of those electrical guns
B) Scenes from the final Zion battle that show Neo wearing a blindfold

Neo and the Sentinels, we'll just have to wait and see on that one, eh? ;)

More rampant speculation:
The train pulling up into the station has a sign on the front that says "Loop." Maybe Neo wakes up in the train station and is expected to board the train and reboot the Matrix, completing the "loop."

I was under the impression that Smith himself is/was an anomaly. I didn't think that there were other 'Smiths' opposing all the other Ones that had come before. As such, Smith's existance made [the current] Neo's situation different.

Smith is an anomaly and he is what makes Neo's situation different. As I said, the system did not forsee that Smith would be so damn crazy or that Neo would change Smith's code. If it weren't for Smith then the former Ones would be able to prod the new One along and continue the cycle.

I'm looking forward to see what comes from some of the things said in the game. Like the explanation of why The Oracle is different, why she was changed, etc.

Yeah, the actual game is a bit short. The first time I beat the game with Niobe, I didn't actually realize it was over. Until the credits started running, hehe.

But the hour of new footage makes up for it, as far as I'm concerned.

I agree that Neo gets blinded somehow. You can see the blindfold
in the attached picture and some blood around it. Sorry the file is
so big, but I'm at work and had to manage w/paint :eek:


From the trailer, I gather that Neo does indeed possess some sort
of power outside of the Matrix (e.g. here where he's holding his
hand out then it shows a bunch of sentinals blow up, and also
when Bane tells him to look past the flesh and he sees the fiery
form of Smith).
