wow! - 850+

this little section of macrumors now has more than 850 threads on it...even more than the hardware rumors section

and soon it looks like general discussions will have the most posts, too

not bad considering it started only a few months ago on this two year old site:D

ps - remember the posters in the past who got mad at anything that wasn't a "rumor"?

to me this site has always been an all around macintosh site

Fact is, people like discussing all their Mac issues in one place, not just rumors.

Remember, that General Discussion came about as a way to get the General Discussion OUT of the rumors areas. It was a good move, I think.

Im not suprised if about the 10 of us have reached that 1000.
Meaning...you know....the heavy posters that are still on here at like 2AM :p

I have slowed down posting due to I am busy with school designing and just bumming around with friends
I used to have about a 7 post per day average no its like 3 or 4

my posting and reading of posts used to be a lot more prolific and if i kept on that pace, i would have hit 1,000 a long time ago, like in january

work has picked up for me and because of that i can only get to a computer nevery now and then outside of my morning and afternoon log ons

i wonder how eyelikeart got so many posts:D

i havent been posting as much as i use too because currenty i have a lot of work...so untill i get a some free days...i wont be on as much.

Yes eye has rocked us like crazy. I wish I had the time for 1000 posts but it ain't possible for me. Although I do have a plan. I post about 3-5 times a day, if I post at this rate I should have my avatar status in 100 days(3 a day) 75 days(4 a day) or 60 days(5 a day). I try to put some thought and meaning in my posts, and I try not to do 1 word posts. I do enjoy polls!
I am glad we have general disscusion.
It took me a year to figure out that there were other froums then the article forums.

I am wired to the internet via dsl at work and at home...so I have a constant access to the net....unless I at neither place or actually working on a project...

again....I admit I don't always have completely thorough posts with important information to share....but it's all fun for me....:p :) :D :cool:

hmm... looking back, I've had quite alot of posts which I put alot of thought into... but nobody cared about what I wrote! :p :p :p :p

well, I am anxious to get an avatar, but I'm not in that much of a hurry either. I'll get there, eventually.
