I've got the "7.4.2 is the latest version" message on iTunes, running OS X 10.4.10.

That's odd. I've been able to download updates for both of my computers from the link above (both platforms). I haven't noticed anything new, so you aren't missing out on much at this point.

Now the d/l page says 7.4.2 is ready for download.

Apple is starting to act a whole lot like you-know-who. Once they implemented the x86 architecture, it was only a matter of time. . . ^_~

Turns out I'm an idiot. Even though the page I downloaded from (for Mac OS X) said iTunes 7.4.3, the DMG clearly said 7.4.2. Sorry for any hopes getting up. Like I said, on my PC, there is nothing new at all.
