Today I have a Memorex iWake iPod alarm clock. Besides being able to play iPod music as an alarm, it also has FM radio. The unit is black in color, and it also comes with a remote.

The box and all original accessories will be included.

Any idea if this works with the new nano?

Does this have a battery option or always need to be plugged in?

Here is the product detail page:

http://www.memcorpinc.com/html/product_detail.php?PID=199&FID=18&SID=5&opento=1017

specifically: "Clock backup capability (requires 2 "AAA" batteries not included)"

Also, I know it works with the iPod Nano 2nd generation, I would assume it would work with the new 3rd generation iPod, but I don't want to make any guarantees.

Just lowered the price, I'll sell for $38 shipped. Thanks

I'm assuming I'd have to ship to canada...would there be an weirdness involved with that? I've never shipped outside the continental U.S.

I'm not sure what you mean by weirdness. It's pretty much the same as shipping within the us except they ask how much the stuff is worth. (because if it's over 100, I pay duties).

And shipping won't be any more than usual (I live on the border)

I'll even throw in an extra stick of 256 mb pc 2700 ram (I have no use for it)

But is it about the same price? If so then I don't really have a problem. Like, how exactly is it a PITA?

Maybe cybergypsy can elaborate. I think she's referring to the possibility of no recourse if i don't send the ram. (I can send first, no problem). Also you can estimate the cost via usps's website. If you're still interested, pm me and I'll send you my address.

I send a laptop to canada a few years ago, they emailed me they got the package had tracking number, the PO never showed received, so the buyer filed a paypal claim even though i had the tracking and her email stating she did get it, paypal charged me back, because your po did not scan it....

its much easier shipping to the USA :) the only way i will ship to canada, is express :)

no I am sure you will send ....that was not even a ??? in my mind :)

Yes, shipping to Canada, is great UNLESS you use a company like UPS or something.

I bought from a product and because it was going over the border they charged my taxes(acceptable) and then they charged me 31$ in extra 'paperwork' fees. Needless to say that i bought a $50 USED item, and paid about 50$ to ship it and have UPS fill out paper work on behalf...

However, when i buy things and they come through the normal postal service i get no charge. So be careful. I would ask the company if you have to pay any extra fees for paperwork and such to get it there.
