I'm just curious what I could get for this thing, to see if it's worth the bother of trying to sell. It's a 450 MHz Cube with 20 GB HD, an original airport card, and the 17-inch CRT Studio display. It's also got an upgraded graphics card. I think it's a CD-RW drive. I don't have original packaging or original CDs, but I could probably throw in an original boxed copy of Panther [[Sorry, couldn't find my Panther disks. You can have original Jaguar disks, though]] if the buyer is interested. The case looks to be in good shape, no cracks or anything.

Well the CRT is doing to be a PITA to ship, so that may not be worth it.

BUt the cube may fetch you $200-250. But not too much more, above that you're into Mini territory.

i was going to say around $200 shipped.

For reference, I sold a 17" Studio CRT a year ago with a small scratch on the screen for $50 + $30 shipping.

For a working cube, you can fetch up to $150 for your model, so I'd say $200 - $250 shipped is reasonable.

I'd be interested in your cube, but would prefer it to be broken ;)

You should post some pictures..it sounds like a kind of hot "old school" setup. If the condition is good, I am interested in it.

2nd that... I loved my Cube. <sigh>

There was just something very special about that machine, expecially considering the timeframe. :)

Okay, here are a couple pictures. Some of the cords in the pix are from the mini next to it...

Loved that monitor! Such a cool design.

Looks like you have kept it all in wonderful condition from the photo.

Hmmm... If you'd come all the way here (Davidson, north of Charlotte), you'd have a deal. I think I'm going to put it on Charlotte Craigslist to see if I can find a local buyer.

Are you willing to sell without the CRT, then? I'm interested in buying it, but the shipping of the CRT (plus personal space limitations) are the potential setbacks.

I have one of those cool ADC displays, I'm considering selling it too. (eastern PA)

Okay, local buyers are falling through...

Anyone willing to pay $225 shipped?

im_to_hyper: Ideally this would be a package deal. I don't think the display is worth much without the computer (especially given the non-standard connection).

Also, an update -- turns out I have a Panther box with no disks. But I can include Jaguar disks...
