WTT a SATA 2.5 inch USB aluminum enclosure (Moving Star brand) for a 2.5 inch USB or firewire 2.5 inch IDE enclosure or hard drive.

Here's what happened. My wife's iBook G4's hard drive went wacky. I've decided to remove it and put it in an enclosure to see if we could get anything from the drive. I was already ordering another drive from Newegg, so I ordered an enclosure at the same time. I just ordered the wrong kind.

I would trade for a comparable enclosure, or trade with $ for an enclosure of better value (e.g., with a drive in it, or with FW).

Just to clarify (I don't think I have what you want, to trade you, anyway)...

WTT a SATA 2.5 inch USB aluminum enclosure (Moving Star brand) for a 2.5 inch USB or firewire 2.5 inch enclosure or hard drive.

I think you mean that you are looking to trade the SATA 2.5" enclosure for a PATA / IDE 2.5" enclosure (as the iBook has a PATA drive and not a SATA drive).

I have a deal pending to buy an enclosure. Thanks for the correction; OP changed.

Funny thing is I actually ordered the wrong enclosure from Newegg too, I meant to order an SATA :p
