I want to sell my white macbook but am a little confused at what price to sell it at. It has:

2.0 Core 2 Duo Processor
1gb of ram
Superdrive
80gb hard drive

I have the original box but can't find the original install discs anymore. What do you guys think is a good price to let it go at?

Not having the original discs is going to hurt you, considering to install Tiger on the Macbooks you need that exact model of install disc install it. It also hurts resale value. I also assume there is no more AppleCare? Maybe $800-825 shipped?

Yea. I just browsed through ebay and it seems those disks could run me about $50. I think what I'll do is put an ad on craigslist for $900 and work my way down. Thanks for the input.

Not having the original discs is going to hurt you, considering...Considering it's against the forum's Marketplace Rules (http://guides.macrumors.com/Help:Marketplace_Rules).

If you are selling/trading a computer with other than the software it originally shipped with (or free updates since then), you must explicitly state that master discs (CDs or DVDs) for that software will be included, as an indication that you are transferring the original installation media and the end-user license (EULA) to the other party. This rule is strictly enforced.
