My Motorola StarTac 7865 works pretty well around Orlando and most of Floriduh.

Motorola T720 on Verizon freeup. Works well in all of the city, and other cities in the area, with no antenna up. In the country, works well with antenna. But there are a *lot* of pure blackout areas... which is annoying. i recommend against using freeup.
