Im looking for a mac mini, as the thread title you read, then clicked to get here, told you.

Anything will do, preferably with a keyboard/mouse but certainly not needed.

Any specs really, more RAM is good tho.

Prefer to stay within the Intel models but Im not too choosy.

If you got one you want to unload, let me know.

Thanks!

I have a 1.42 G4 that I am upgrading the ram on right now. I planned to put it on ebay soon. If you give me a comparable price (minus the fee's of course), I would consider it. Perfect condition. Could throw in an apple keyboard if you want.

i have a mac mini i bought in august 06'. it is the core solo 1.5 ghz, 60 GB hard drive with 2 GB RAM. it has applecare for almost 2 more years. Running OSX 10.4.10. I could be pursueded to sell. Let me know. Throw out an offer. Nothing wrong with. Works perfect. I also have a Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse and Wireless Keyboard that I could sell with it.

Let me just say that I really dont want to make offers, I hate to insult you with an unfair price.

So, throw me a price youd be comfortable with, and we can go from there.

A G4? Would have to be really cheap, as refurb Intels are rather cheap.

hmmm....it also has the superdrive upgrade.

I paid around $825. with the applecare and that was with my education discount.

let me look around and see what is worth:)

Here are pretty reasonable prices for seller and buyer - G4 Mini (no matter what model) - $300 tops, and it would have to be fantastic. Core Solo mini - $300-$350 depending on condition, applecare, memory etc, Core Duo mini - $350 low end model, $400 high end model, Core 2 Duo mini - whatever refurb prices are right now.

I may just have to go with refurb, but then Im out a keyboard and mouse possibly and (though one could get lucky) no real upgrades to RAM/HD.

Anyone with an intel machine gathering dust?

I've got a Core Duo with all the upgrades that I'd consider selling, as I'd like to buy a Macbook pro:

1.83 Ghz Core Duo
2 Gb Ram (Straight from Apple, not 3rd party)
120 GB Hard Drive
Bluetooth, Apple Express
Also have a logitech keyboard/mouse combo (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard_mice_combos/devices/158&cl=us,en)

http://www.mac2sell.net/ lists it as being worth $750 <shrug>

Edit: I bought it mid-late last November, so it's still under Applecare for a little bit longer and still eligible to extend it I guess.

Probably a bit of overkill.

If my remark about going refurb didnt tell you, let me say now I was looking to keep it around or under $500.

So, while you got a great machine, its more than I need to spend. ;)

New Mac Minis don't come with keyboard/mouse either..?

To the guy who posted that 1.83c2d, that model retails for less then $750...

It's a Core Duo not a Core 2 Duo, my mistake.

Yes a Core 2 Duo 1.83 ghz retails for less, but it also only has half the ram, an 80gb hard drive, and a combo drive (not a superdrive).

So, would you take less?

Thank you to anyone who read this thread and was thinking of offering.

I have decided to go with a refurb:

2.0 Core 2 Duo
1GB
120GB
SuperDrive

not bad for $680
