Looking to add an external cd-rw to g5...
Which would you recommend?

Actually, it would be better to have a DVD-ROM and CDRW in one... Any suggestions?

I have a smartdisk/vst tiny firewire (8X 8X 24X) one that I don't use anymore... I also have a external usb 6X4X6X speed one. any reasonable offer gets either one.

If you are looking for something new then check out LaCie, http://www.lacie.com/ they have good pruducts including HDDs, DVD burners, Cd burners etc.etc.etc
