Since it hasn't been shipped to you, why don't you just cancel the order?

I have ordered via my campus store here in Canada, apparently they're not very good at this stuff. They can't cancel it :(

Apple has a RAM slot fixing service - PowerBook G4 (15-inch 1.67/1.5GHz) Memory Slot Repair Extension Program (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303173#faq1)
Maybe they'll repair it for you?

Bummer, but I doubt anyone is going to bite on this unless you offer a pretty drastic discount.

You would be better off trying to sell it locally. The reason people pre-order it is so they can have it immediately upon release. Your scenario would require for you to receive it first & then turn around & ship it again thereby delaying it. You will have to discount it better than Amazon and find a patient soul.
Sorry about your troubles, hope you can find acceptable resolution.

Your campus store is charging you that much? Brutal! You MUST go to Queens.

I agree since Educational Institutions still get it for $69 (but students are charged $116 if ordered from Apple directly).
I'd try one more time to try and cancel it (ask for the store manager). You never know, they might go for it if you pester them enough.
Good luck

Wait for it to arrive then go down to the Apple store and sell it to someone a bit cheaper than Apple is selling it. :D

Isn't there a rule against selling something you don't own (yet)?
