EDIT: Trade completed with iCeQuBe, great transaction. Thanks!!
-------------------------------------------------------
I have an extra 512 MB PC5300 DDR2 stick I pulled from my MacBook (stock RAM from Apple), as well as a 256MB PC2700 desktop RAM stick for trade.
I want a PC100 (or PC133) desktop RAM stick for my kids' G3 iMac (at least 256 MB).
Let me know if anyone is interested. I will also buy or sell if you don't want to trade.
Thanks!

Its nice to know that there are still some people using their imacs. I recently bought 2, 512 mb sticks and maxed out mine at 1gb it cost me $100 off ebay, which is expensive, but after the upgrade OS X flies. Try and see if your local craigslist has anything. i had also tried MR Marketplace without avail.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know old RAM was so expensive! Makes me wish I still had some of my old PC boxes I could've scavenged from...
Considering they sell for almost throwaway prices on EBay (partly because of shipping costs), the old eMacs are still pretty cool little machines. I bought one for only $20 local pickup (400MHz, Firewire, DVD), but just bumping the RAM a bit will cost more than the iMac itself! ;)
EDIT- Just checked Craigslist, found a 256MB stick for $10, but it's too far away. Darn! There does seem to be quite a few deals, just need to wait to find one closer to home. I won't be maxing it out to 1GB or anything, but looks like Craigslist is my best bet. Thanks!
