I'm buying a new system with a larger internal drive and will need a bigger drive for Time Machine 1TB.

This is the USB 2.0 Porsche version of the LaCie Drives. It's only 3 1/2 months old and works perfectly. Drive is nice and quiet and looks very nice (aluminum finish) next to or on top of a G5 tower, Mac Pro or new iMac.

I read another forum that suggested 500 at a minimum for time machine so it was suggesting 750 gb.

Anybody have an opinion? This sounds like a great deal.
