A trailer for Uru: Ages beyond Myst has been released - link here (http://www.uruobsession.com/multimedia/video/trailers/trailer2.mpg).
The tragedy is that there still seems to be no move towards a Mac version of this game. There has been a petition made, but it currently has just over 1000 sigs - hardly anything really.
This is quite sad, seeing as the original Myst game got it's head up from the Mac community - it was a real showcase of the power of the mac platform, hypercard, and quicktime.
And now becuase of Ubisoft (the distributors) we may never see a Myst game again on the Mac.
So I think it's time to raise a bit of a stink again. There's 20,000 odd members here and who knows how many lurkers. If you care about this I really urge you to do something.
What that something is though, I'm not so sure. I don't think the original petition is very useful. Ubisoft is very good at not disclosing any kind of email address on their website. It might pay to write directly to Cyan - info@cyanworlds.com - rather than having your voice lost by ubisoft support anyway. Maybe you guys know a better way. Maybe Arn would have a poll?!
