this bluetooth mouse comes with the original packaging, and the charging dock/bluetooth cradle.

the thing that makes it MUCH better than apple's mighty mouse is that it has altogether (besides the scroll wheel) 7 (yes, seven) separate buttons. you can use expose, dashboard and navigate documents without touching the keyboard.

it also came with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. makes apple's 1 year warranty look puny.

the mouse is a full size desktop size mouse

it works great under tiger without installing logitech's horrible software.

it uses 2 AA rechargable batteries, but i'll include a total of 4 Energizer Alkaline AA rechargable batteries

brand new it was $100

I'm asking $75 shipped in the continental US

Not trying to hate or whatever but just a FYI I bought one new on ebay a couple years ago for $45. Sweet mouse, I used the hell out of it until all the paint was gone but I can't see these things pulling more then 30 bucks these days as they've been replaced by a couple generations of products.

there's seems to be hatin' but no appreciatin' :-)

When i bought it a year or so ago, the ones on ebay were all refurbs. The refurbs only have a 45 day warranty or so, a far cry from the 5 YEARS that a retail one (the one i am selling) has. the mouse has since been discontinued, so there is no where you can buy a new mx900, not on ebay, not anywhere.

many mice have came and gone, but there is still NO desktop bluetooth mouse (either from logitech or apple or microsoft) that has the number of buttons. the current bluetooth mice from logitech only have a scroll wheel and the L&R mouse buttons.

Also, their warranty is only 2 or 3 years.

i tried apple's mighty mouse and the scroll ball gets gunked up after a month or so of regular use. and there is no way to remove the ball without breaking the glue that holds the mighty mouse together.

Simply put, there is NO bluetooth mouse on the market today that comes close to the Logitech mx900. if there is, i invite anyone to post a link to a comparable product.

Since you asked for it, Logitech MX1000 Bluetooth mouse. The battery life is twice as long and its more responsive. Thats what I picked up after my MX900 bit it and it was well worth the $150 with keyboard it cost. You can't buy it as the MX1000, that doesn't come with bluetooth but the MX5000 version (kb+m combo) is all bluetooth and requires no dongle if your mac has internalized bluetooth.

Can be found on the cheap now, too.
