I have a potential buyer for my dual 2.0ghz Powermac G5, i was wondering how much could i sell it for? 2 gigs of ram, 120gb drive, a little under 2 years old. Not including anything, just the tower and power cord.
**or if anyone has a link where i can look up the price myself**
Also, will the 24" imac out perform my G5? Probably going to purchase that once i sell the G5 (or a MBP).
Thanks:apple:

You might get 2-3x the performance of that G5, it's hard to tell as I haven't seen numbers to really prove it.
As far as price, somewhere in the 900-1000 range sounds fair.

Look at ebay completed auctions.

It's a dual-core, right? Important distinction in the value of it (though practically speaking not much difference in performance).

yes, dual 2ghz.
I checked out prices online, and i figured i could sell it for 1000-1100.
now it's just time to decide, mb, mbp, or imac...so many choices!

Sorry..."price check" threads are limited to the Marketplace forum. We've had too many people trying to circumvent the post requirements for that forum by posting "price check" threads elsewhere that quickly morph into "for sale" threads.
