FS: Sony HDRHC5 Camcorder - PENDING

Up for sale is a Sony HDRHC5. It is in very good condition and still has the tags on it. I have three rechargeable batteries, the camcorder, the av cables, the remote, software, video, new mini-dv tapes, manual, ac adapter, and brand new bag. I'm selling this camcorder because I recently received an older Handycam from a family member and don't need the high-end HD video. Any offers considered (Paypal preferred), thanks for looking. I have sold on here before and also have 100% feedback on eBay (verozov).

What would you be looking for by way of trade? You mention you got an older camcorder, but if you would like a different one, I have the excellent Sony DCR-PC100 (http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/sony_dcrpc100_camcorder_review.htm) that I have been looking at upgrading from to an HD model. I would be happy to trade plus cash. Mine is complete with all accessories, manuals, even original packaging.

And, wow. A quick eBay search reveals that the PC100 sells for $200-$300, while the HC5 sells for $400-$500. That is very surprising to me.

I'll try to get some pictures up later, I don't have my camera with me right now. As far as the trade, I'm not really looking for another camcorder, sorry. The only HC5's I've seen on eBay are missing AC adapters and batteries and/or do not work. I have received an offer of $500 but will wait it out for now and see what else comes along (since mine does come with over $150 of extras over a brand new camera, and this one is essentially new).

No problem, here you go: Video resolution - 1080 Lines Interlace Scan HD MPEG-2, 530 Lines SD MPEG-2 (Video: 1.43 MegaPixels in 16:9)

It records to HDV tape in anamorphic 1440x1080, 60 interlaced fields per second. Upon transfer to a computer, this is interpolated into 1920x1080, 60 interlaced fields per second. It can also record in standard DV 720x480, 60 interlaced fields per second.

(Note that "60 interlaced fields per second" is the video equivalent of "30 frames per second.")
