OK...here's a funny story and perhaps you guys/gals have your own. A co-worker whom I shared an office with came in on a Monday with a Big Ass smile on his face. So ofcourse I bit and asked how was your weekend? He answered that it was ok BUT the highlight was on Friday night. He tells me that he left for Happy Hour that Friday right after work and returns much later to the office with a girl he picked up at the bar. Well, while she was in the bathroom, he wanted to set the mood but the lights in office were way too bright and way too dark when off, SO he turns both of our Mac on in the office , loads up iTunes, puts on some smooth music an kicks in the Visualizers. He told be it worked like a charm. Needless to say we were both pee'ing in our pants. Thank God for iTunes. :D

Hah! I'm with you, aside from the fast thing (if there's anything i'm not, it's fast when making love. ;) )

But seeing as to how my office is my house, I can just roll to another room should the mood strike me and my mate. ;)

Plus, the LAST thing I wanna be thinking about when i'm doing my thang is my mac..... sorry. haha

That said, my D100 gets the most gawks from passersby... mostly females in the college area of town.

I do have a bit of a story to go along with what I wrote above. My boyfriend was flying into town, and only had a brief layover, so we decided to have a little booty call. I set up my apartment really nice, set up a sweet little playlist, zoomed to the airport, and brought him right back for our quickie. I set the music going and we started at it. At a very, ummm, "crucial" moment, the song changed. Apparently I added I song I didn't intend. It switched from Norah Jones "Shoot the Moon" to Ozzy Osbourne" Crazy Train. We were both laughing too hard to stay in the moment. Needless to say, a strange memory.

Splendid. Works nicely with the AFS VR 70-200 for sports stuff. Got some nice shots at the vintage gran prix. ;)

Do you ever wonder why beautiful girls are with average looking guys? Cuz those guys actually asked the girl out. You just need to keep asking until you find a lonely one ... without a boyfriend... iTunes gets all the ladies. It works real well in college dorms. What you do is get some red chili pepper lights. You plug them in and turn all other lights off. Then you put iTunes on w/ visuals....prefereably with some funk playing (funk = sex music)

if you can get a chick in your room with all that and you two are alone it's a done deal unless you're an idiot.

More so because the mood is right and she wouldn't be there if she wasn't a little into you...or she would be kinda weird about it and you'd know.

add a little alcohol if you're still a bit unsure, and enjoy the night :cool:

word of advice getting the chicks, for what it's worth:

1) Keep it simple stupid. No one ever just walks up and says "Hi my name is", Chicks crave that.

2) Never try to be a chicks friend and then tell her you're into her. Be up front from the get go.

not finding the 3 fps to be a problem then?

what about processing time, is it fast enough, if i want to take shots at a football, basketball, baseball game?

i'm interested in starting some work at my school paper, they have digital cameras but they are not SLR's, and then they have film SLR's, so i figure i get alot more work if i just shot in digital

but since i have nikon equipment already i wanna stay with a nikon body and the D100 has the most attractive price

teabgs you remind me of my survival training at Brooks AFB outside of San Antonio, TX. It was for my Basic Flight Nurse badge. We spent 3 nights oin the woods during our course in November. It got very cold at night. We had a large campfire, a tarp to help with the wind, and a couple of blankets. During our course work they told us that the best way to pair up at night was to pair up at night to preserve body heat. Women absorb heat and men give off heat. So we all paired up. About body heat by gender:

Men have a good deal more blood in their bodies then women do--a difference that is slightly disproportionate to weight. That's why women generally have a higher body fat percentage than men--it's needed as insulation.

Given the insulation issue, it's probably more likely that women in general both transmit and recieve less body heat then men generally do.
