Cannot access movie file from within iPod from the Finder

I have a large movie file within my iPod, but I cannot seem to access or view it from within the Finder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you sure you have the iPod set to act as a Firewire hard drive. You have to set this option from iTunes, which is counterintuitive but that's just the way it is....

yes, it's enabled for firewire mode.
