Considering selling my Rev. 04 Dell 2007WFP S-IPS 20" monitor. I also have the speaker bar. It was Manf. June '07 so about two an a half years of warranty left. It does have two dead pixels in the center.

edit whoops skipped the dead pixel thing. Not really interested any more. How much are you looking for just to satisfy my curiosity? (pm if you don't want to post here)

Like I said, it's got about 2 and a half years of warranty for you to send it in. And when you consider there are 1,764,000 pixels on screen, 2 is hard to notice.

$225. Also, how do you know it is S-IPS? Guess or have you looked at the service menu?

I knew it was a S-IPS from the viewing angle, but yes, I've also checked the service menu. That price is a tad lower than what I'd really be wanting for it.

I'll throw my hat in at $250 because I know Dells warranty is pretty good.

Any reason you didn't just exchange it and sell it as a new (or FRU if they send you such) monitor? Just wondering, my offer stands.

There is somewhat of a "lottery" when it comes to the 2007WFP's. I don't want to send it in and get back an inferior S-PVA.

Though, the majority of the 2007WFP's shipping now are S-IPS.

Ah yes I'd forgotten about the lottery. As far as I know the 2007wfp has been discontinued Dell is just shipping backstock now because there is no replacement on the market yet. I do remember it being a big deal to "win" a S-IPS after they started shuffling in the lower panels (a00 and a01 were all SIPS, I think)

My offer stands. Perhaps a bit higher.

So sorry to revive this thread, but I have an A00 S-IPS panel, is it bein A00 a good thing or bad?
