iBook update?

So when do you think we'll get iBook update? October? November?

What kind of specs do you think we'll get?

good question, its gotta be coming soon. I'm willing to bet a 1ghz G3 (can't have a 1.2 cause the 12 inch powerbook is at 1ghz. ) Airport extreme, 256 ram standard on the board, maybe radeon 9000 or geforce4 go, i doubt the FX line would make it in. I honestly have no idea, i am just throwing this out there for the heck of it, but i think these are somewhat reasonable guesses. I'd like to see that $999 ibook come with a dvd rom instead of just the cdrom, even that i think could push a lot of people to buy it. Atleast the ability to custom order the optical drive, say 1049 for dvd rom.

I hope they come later rather than sooner. Why? I'm trying to sell my iBook, and it'll become harder to sell when it's 2 models old instead of just the 1 model old it is now. So I'm quite happy for them to delay the iBooks :)
