taping desktop

does anybody have a clue how Apple tapes the desktop. (that it can be ran like a QT-file)
On the MAC OSX site of Apple you can see OS X in action.
I was wondering how they do that, or if there is some kind of app that does this.

There is an app, called SnapZ Pro by Ambrosia Software, its worth it. It works on both OS9 and OSX.

I found it, but has 49$ fee after 30 days and, if you want the QT support as well.

Any cheaper solutions:D

Its worth it, though, I have it and it comes in real handy now and again. I don't know of any other apps that capture the desktop and save it as a movie.
