The OP's first post/thread. Why does this not surprise me.

I vigorously rubbed my digits around the socket will no ill effects - though being virtually indestructible, my immortal flesh is probably not the best material to test for problems.
Possibly this problem is just down to a case of Toll-itis...

I can confirm that it is not going to scratch me.
Can you confirm you aren't a leper?

"Iscratch..."
What does that even mean? It's quite poor...

Why it is when anyone gets a new Apple device they insist on putting an "i" in front of every issue and non-issue they've had?
After buying my first Mac I can safely say I never had the urge to say something like this....
My PowerBook looks good on my iDesk but I seem to be losing iSleep because I am so iExcited. I find using the iKeyboard is quite iSatisfying because the keys are iSmooth to the iTouch.
Yeah /shrug, I guess I never had the urge to sound so iStupid.
To the OP, take your iScratch and go to the iDoctor and return your iPhone if it is razor sharp. I rubbed the iPhone all over my hand and I seem to be iOK.

iscatched, maybe you should test it further by rubbing the supposedly sharp part vigorously across your throat and/or wrists. If that fails, you could try it on your eyes too. Have fun! :)

You can blame apple for following the same naming scheme for the last five years. When will they quit putting a f!$%/"g "i" in front of everything.
@OP
At the odd chance that you have a "razor" sharp part on your phone, because some machine didn't fully cut the part/mold correct, first bandage your finger and second if its still razor sharp go cut some Apple genius's fingers until they give you a new iphone.
Nonetheless, "Dear Lord." is probably the nicest and most accurate comment you are going to recieve.

If any part of your phone is sharp enough to cut you, call Apple and have them replace it. Why continue cutting yourself on something that shouldn't be able to cut you?

I vigorously rubbed my digits around the socket will no ill effects I tried the same, and having also suffered no ill effects I moved on to vigourously rubbing other appendages. The results were overwhelmingly positive ! :apple:

While like everybody else iRecommend that you get an iColonoscopy because you are full of iFeces
on the of chance that you are seriours, did you drop your phone and happen to chip off part of the iphone jack? if so, then I would call this a you only issue

Down the street, not across it ;)
This is ridiculous. Call Apple, maybe you will make a CSR's day when you make them laugh so hard.
