Is the drive a WD Caviar or Protege?

If its from the eMachines, its probably the Protege.

Protege drives are 5400RPM with 2MB cache.

But they do come in handy for modded Xboxes, or say iMac G3s. I put mine in my Xbox, and was able to lock the drive and everything.

No its a Caviar, I bought an extra drive because I needed the extra space for some stuff. The drive that came with it was a Hitachi 2MB 7200RPM, but I sold it already.
