Hate to nitpick, but isn't there only one USB on the front, two in back and only one ethernet on the back? And you sure about the FW800 on the front? Didn't think that got put in till the MacPros.

this sounds a lot like a Mac Pro to me, based on the port locations.

Good catch, thank you.

I was sitting in front of my MacPro when I wrote the ad. And so I mistakenly
included a Firewire 800 port on the front. Of course there is a Firewire 800 port on the back. And only 1 USB 2 port on the front as well.

There are 2 ethernet ports on the back. And there are 3 USB 2 ports on the back.

I have rewritten my ad.

this sounds a lot like a Mac Pro to me, based on the port locations.

I have corrected my error in describing the port arrangements on the front of my PowerMac G5. One USB 2, 1 FW 400, 1 headphone jack.

There is another issue that I can clarify with respect to my PowerMac G5.

This PowerMac G5 is not the original PowerMac G5 that I purchased.

My original PowerMac G5 had terrible cooling problems. In fact the processors both burnt up, and caused the motherboard to kick up it's legs as well.

Apple replaced the original with the 1 I'm selling.

This PowerMac G5 I'm selling is a late model version, it's cooling system was completely reengineered.

I have had no hardware issues with the PowerMac G5 replaced by Apple, 4/01/06.

This is actually the last of the G5's and as such supports 16GB DDR2 (unlike most G5's which are DDR). IT is also PCI-Express, not AGP and PCI-X.

Its a great find and I think priced too low... someone should pounce.
