I've got a mint condition Nikon D40x (http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=2&productNr=25424) digital camera for sale... It has probably 100-150 pictures on it.. Its been pampered and looks (and works) as good as new.

It comes with all of the original accessories (box, manuals, cables, etc) as wel as the standard 18-55mm lens (http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=5&productNr=2170), a 2nd battery, a 2GB SanDisk Extreme III SD Card (http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item(1973)-SDSDX3-2048-901-SanDisk_Extreme_III_SD_2GB.aspx), a perfect fitting Caselogic carrying case (http://www.caselogic.com/slr_camera_holster/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=57076) and 3 B+W Brass filters (http://www.schneideroptics.com/ecommerce/CatalogSubCategoryDisplay.aspx?CID=1161) I purchased.

Asking $600/shipped (within the US).

part out the 2gb extreme III sd card?

I'd rather just sell it all as a kit..

Is it the carrying case and the filters that separate this from what you would get if you bought the camera new?

Carrying case ($15), Filters ($70), 2nd battery ($20) and 2GB SD card ($30) (and savings on tax/shipping).

I understand not everyone needs the extras but its value added (and helpful).

It depends on if you need the extra stuff or not.. Some people already have SD cards or batteries.

What are the brass filters? I've never heard of them before.
