Hello,
I have a one-year old MacBook with Tiger and my sister recently bought a MacBook Pro last week. I was wondering if there is any way of installing Leopard on my computer using the disks that she got with her Mac? I put the disks in just to see, but it said 'you cannot install Leopard on this computer'. Is there anyway of bypassing this?
Thanks!

WHether there is a way or not you won't get any help with this here, since if it works you are violating the EULA. just buy your own copy.

For starters, it won't work. The installer is hardware specific.
Beyond that, it is indeed a violation of the Mac OS X Software License Agreement. So, you really should just invest in your own retail purchase of Leopard.

ooo how? :)
lighten up guys! what i can't believe is that Apple charges people to download a couple of useful upgrades. me and my sister are both students and have spent over £2000 ($4000!) on Macs - i deserve an upgrade! :)

You deserve to be treated the same way as everyone else. Put it on your Xmas wish list. Besides, there's little wrong with Tiger.
