I'm selling my digital SLR.. Upgrading to a bigger and badder Pentax camera...
With my experience with this camera, I've found pentax is my favorite when it comes to SLR performance... It's always been my friend for any possible image I want to capture, and it's ALWAYS ready when I need to take a picture... From power on to snapping the picture almost seems like no time at all.. It's just ready. . . . Leaving the camera on is no issue either, it goes to sleep by it self and can be in sleep mode for days on end without any use of the battery... tap the shutter button and its ready to snap a picture. This camera is amazing on batteries... When I've used it for sports pictures(volleyball, basketball, football,) and pro senior photos for the yearbook or personal use I didn't have to switch out my energizer rechargables batteries maybe once a week.
Its condition:
EXCELLENT... the greatest thing about this camera is the fact that any scratches just simply rub off... the grips are rugged and any damage taken.. just rub off. The camera looks just about the same as it did when i pulled it out of the box... I've been really nice to it. The function of the camera is the same as it was out of the box. Lens also still runs smooth and fast... still holds focus instead of vibrating out of a locked focus like some of the low-end canon AF lenses..
I've loved this camera from day one. . . That's why I'm getting another pentax... Pentax just has it goin on.. I can't stand it when I get my hands on my buddie's canon's and Nikon SLR's. Yeah, they're nice and do what they are meant to do, but I just find pentax to be the "how it should be" when it comes to taking pictures for any event. . .
