Yeah, I'm using what appears to be the sequel, RadioLover. It's really nice .. but $15

That and one other, which is also $15, is all I see at VersionTracker.

Been using AudioHijack because Streamripper, while cool, always mangles the songs from the radio by including the bit from the last song and cutting off before the end of each file (probably because of fade-in/fade-outs or something). I'd use it compulsively if it worked in an acceptable fashion.

Oh yeah, 1 more question:

Is this legal, DLing songs from the radio?

People have taped regular radio for yonks and it's not exactly legal. People download music and it's not exactly legal. People jay-walk and it's not exactly legal. Things happen which aren't exactly legal but this is one of those ones where no-one - including the authorities - really care about.

Yes, it's legal in the US, as long as it's for personal use, i.e. you can't sell it to someone else. It's no different than recording a TV show on your VCR to watch at a later time. The courts have deemed this sort of "time shifting" as "fair use" under current copyright law.

Well, I live in Japan...

Actually, I had a student who hooked his Vaio up to the TV and recorded a radio stream from it and he said it was perfectly legal too. I just wanted a second opinion :D

Thanks!
