Just an FYI, the mac specialists have an unspoken rule that if someone is looking to buy .mac in the store they'll give it to you for $69 even without a computer purchase. You just have to ask.

They have a ridiculous guideline to meet when it comes to the sale of .mac. They'll drop trow to sell it to you.

I concur with this statement. Black Friday 2007, I walked into the Apple Store just to inquire if .Mac subscriptions were for sale because I wanted to stock up and avoid renewal hassle for 3 years. They said unfortunately not, but then they told me to wait so they could grab a manager. They gladly offered me .Mac for $69, so I bought 3 of them=).

Is that to much? If so make an offer.

Maybe I was misunderstood but the price I places did seem fair as per e-bay rates.

Once again, I have two .mac family memberships which retail for about 170, price for one will be $85 and I can have the code emailed to you instantly.

I think I bought my family pack for $90, and that was after a lot of searching and waiting. $100's not a bad price at all, and $85's pretty darn good.

IMHO, at least.
