Never posted any photos I've taken, but why not...this one was taken in Levingsworth (sp?) Washington. I usually don't like showing my pics since I feel I am not that good at photography, but I like this one.

I also like this one (living in Florida I was amazed to see snow when I went to the mountains in Washington)

Sorry for posting back to back, but I don't know how to post multiple pictures like some can.
This is from standing on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Italy.

You have to host the images else where (another webserver) then use the [IMG] tags to have multipul images in one post ;)

Heres one I took on the drive between LA and Colorado. It's from one of those scenic view points off the interstate somewhere in Utah.

Unfortunately, not everyone know how to do that or who's a good host. Meaning free!.....Now's that's a good educational link someone can start.
Love that Canyon shot. Sweet....I got a few to post but it'll have to be tonight when I get home from work. Perhaps not as nice but a contribution.

An aquaduct...this one was nearly impossible to scale down to a low enough file size to upload.

Great shots all... but we were hoping to use this thread as a critique for this thread specifically:
photo of the month for october (theme: creepy) (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?postid=523573#post523573)
That way, y'all can go out and snap some shots, make some pictures, and we can all use our collective talents and whatnot to learn and become better at this whole photography thing. :)

Hey...how about you guys mentioning what method you use to take the photos. Traditional or Digital? Also, what camera did you use? That would cool.

Nice idea exclipse. I'm guessing that you can grab the EXIF data from iphoto for the digital people.... and get info as to shutter speed, exposure, aperture, etc etc etc, as well as which cam ya use.

Great Idea. Your generousity is unmeasured. Very cool. Thank you for the offer. That goes out to you MoxieMike as well.
Also...these images on this Thread have nothing to do with the Halloween theme you have up on another Thread right? Just alittle confused.

that would be correct.
Btw this thread is meant to be a place to offer suggestions, and comments on individual's entries to the photo of the month thread. Not a general suggestion thread. I think that is something that may have been a bit confusing to others.

Oh...I'm sorry....my apologizes.
So any photo's posted from this point on is for critique and it has to do with 'creepy', is that right? I was alittle thrown off for a moment.

Well these are kind of spooky though I know I can do better even with these if I apply some photo editing to them. I just found it today growing in the pot with my big Aloe Vera plant. All I got to say is welcome to Oregon where things grow even if you don't want them to.

If you want a good, free image host, go to MacSnaps.com (http://macsnaps.com) and just shove up your image as a desktop, assuming it's in the right aspect ratio.

FunMac is a great place to share Screen Grabs, Computer Setup, and Desktop Background photos but they seem to be pretty specific about have just those images.
If you want to upload just a bunch of photos and waste waste server space the SpyMac Gallery (http://www.spymac.com/gallery/) is the place to do that for no charge.

Well the cap opened on it today. Guess I need to replant the damn Aloe Vera today and get it out of that moldy soil.

I'll post my mushroom photo later later this week with a few photo tweaks. Maybe I'll even go shoot something through my night-vision scope. That's creepy without any touch up.
