I don't think the cubs have ever won a world series, it wasn't around when they did win the title.

Yanks will beat Boston, (pedro can't pitch every game :p).

Yanks will win the World Series unless we have the Cubs, then it will be close.

Just a clarification.

The last time the Cubs won a postseason Series was 1908 - this was the historical signifigance of beating the Braves last week.

The last time the Cubs won a Pennant was 1908.

And the last time the Cubs won the World Series was 1908.

It's repeated ad-nauseum in the Chicago news media these days.
