Cleo,

Do you have Quicktime Pro?

it sucks, but you have to pay the $30 to get the code, before you can download/save QT movies...

If you do have it, once the movie is loaded, just click on the little triangle popup menu in the corner of it, and select "save file as" or something like that :)

This was posted earlier on some forum. It is low quality, but it is the commercial.

I even have the commercial. Look:

It sucks so much
Quicktime pro isn't that good, $30 to watch full screen sucks

I agree. I, um... acquired Quicktime Pro and it's great (especially for some of my favorite trailers and such) but I wouldn't spend the money for just that.

Well, you know, you can watch full screen movies on Quicktime for free!

Try looking on download.com for Present Movie. It works really well.

If you are having trouble with mpeg video, add .mpg to the file name.

I'm with you... back when 3.0 was out i had someone buy the code for me as a gift... then it stopped working, and i wasn't going to pay for it. If it was a one-time thing it would be worth it, but i had no idea when i got it the first time, it would eventually stop working... what a crock

so i acquired it as well, confident that Apple got paid for it once.

QT Pro does so much more than just let you watch full screen trailers:

Editing
Multiple tracks (video and audio)
Subtitle and chapter tracks

It's actually a sort of mini-iMovie...so don't say it sucks unless you've actually used it and know what it does.

Let me know if you still haven't gotten it yet. I can post it on a server for you.

I got the free QT pro for version 3 which also worked for version 4. I have since picked up the license for version 5 and it gives me the functions I want. Mainly, I can download any quicktime files that I want to. That way, I can save trailers to show other people while offline.

Quicktime is powerful as it is, and the pro version adds more then enough features to justify the $30 cost. Considering that you don't have to buy a new one for every version update.

Thanks, Rower. My Mac is in the shop so I haven't had a chance to grab the commercial yet. If I have any trouble once I do get my Mac back, I'll let ya know. :)
