I have CRU PowerMac G5 1.6 Ghz for sale. The machine is a Customer Replacement Unit for a G4 867 that Apple was unable to repair. While waiting (3 months), I went ahead and bought a Dual G5. The machine has been used to remove files from my old G4 at the Apple store -- that is it. Nothing has been opened in the box except the computer to transfer the files. The unit carries the balance of my G4's Applecare (12/04) which gives you a bit more than factory warranty. In addition you get a free upgrade to Panther since the "acquisition" date is 10/08. The machine has not been registered.

If interested, email.

Hi
Still available? How low will you go? $1750 shipped?

Anyone can get it for $1,938 shipped brand new and I could get it for $1,926 (including 7% MN sales tax) shipped directly from Apple brand new with my educational discount. As you can see I'm really in no hurry since I have a really nice machine now, so I'm seeing if I can't find a GREAT deal on either a G5 (I'd prefer 1.8 and up but...) or a revision B 17" PowerBook.
