Hey folks!

I'm selling my venerable tibook.

It's a revision b, bought new by me in November 2001. It has a compusa extended warranty (with screen protection) up until 2004.

It was the top of the line model, and comes with airport card, 512mb of ram, a DVD drive, gigabit ethernet, brighter screen than the previous tibooks, etc. This laptop is in stellar condition, with only a few small scratches on the bottom.

There's been no paint chipping or anything like that.

I'll ship it with OS X.2 preinstalled, and if you want any other apps, I can install those too.

I have all of the original boxes and whatnot, and will ship with a copy of the receipt, so you can use that for any warranty claims. This machine has been a good workhorse for me, and like any good machine, I treat it with respect and keep it clean. It looks like it's brand new.

The battery still holds a full charge and gets around 3.5 hours of life in OSX.

I'm looking to get around $1100 for this puppy asap! PM or email me for more info.

Thanks!
mike

What features does it have that would cause me to pay the same price as a NEW 800 mhz G4 iBook?

If you reconsider a more suitable price, I may be interested.

Well, let's see: 512mb ram, a 15'2 inch screen, an airport card built in, PMCIA slot, video spanning as opposed to mirroring. All things that make a powerbook, even an older one, worth more than the newest iBook. That said, a 667 with 512 of L2 Cache is gonna probably perform similarly to an 800mhz iBook g4. ;)

Yeah, O.K Let us not forget the 200MhZ Dif the Combodrive,The 32mb Video card Airport EX & Bluetooth +Brand NEW still in box with CD's and books. The Powerbook is a better portable But with the price of the Powerbook 12in 15in and even 17in paying that much for a USED OUTDATED laptop is not Logical
