Anyone who is frustrated by the fact that you cannot take a snapshot off a DVD, fret not! Someone has created a fantastic shareware app called Constrictor, which allows you to do this and more.

What I do to capture a frame: Play DVD to the spot I want to snap, freeze it. Open Constrictor and size to the frame, in full-screen mode. Then I go into the Constrictor app and in "File" I go to "Delayed Save." I then have a good few seconds to go back into the DVD app, and tell it to go to Full-screen mode, where the Constrictor pictureframe is ready to go, open over my frozen frame. I move the mouse out of the frame, and it does its thing! Fantastic!
Enjoy!
