To the collective wisdom:
(MY APOLOGIES FOR POSTING THIS THREAD IN THE WRONG CATEGORY! HOW CAN I MOVE IT TO THE CORRECT ONE?)
I installed Leopard on the release day (now 10.5.1, clean install + migration assistant for apps and accounts).
Unfortunately, Preview.app crashes unpredictably when I open pdf files. There are two instances of the problem:
1. As the file is being loaded, I get a beachball and Preview.app soon "quits unexpectedly".
2. As the file is being saved, Preview.app "quits unexpectedly" and, worse still, it does NOT save my data!
I cannot notice a pattern, neither can I reproduce the problem at will.
Emptying caches, repairing permissions and the usual assortment of Onyx maintenance utilities hasn't helped.
With Acrobat CS3 still incompatible with Leopard, I really do rely on Preview.app for the bulk of my work.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
