Was apartheid really that bad that a 300% increase in crime, AIDS, and corruption is that much better? Not to mention the slaughter of thousands of white farmers who used to feed the area, including Zimbabwe?

Right, firstly that is Zulu traditional costume Jacob is wearing, used only for ceremonial events. It's one of the customs in KwaZulu, where he comes from. As such, that's no more frightening than an American celebrating Thanksgiving or a Brit lighting fireworks on Bonfire Night

Secondly, all that crime, corruption and disease was there in South Africa prior to 1994, the difference is it never got reported because it only affected the black people who the National Party couldn't give a flying toss about.

I'm no fan of Zuma, but let's get some perspective shall we?

Why? Read the link. My wife's family lives on a farm in South Africa. They are white, and they will probably be slaughtered under this savage. I think people should be aware of the cesspool that this whole region has become under corrupt COMMUNIST leadership.

I did read the link.

This thread is highly political, which is why I said it was probably destined for the PRSI sub-forum. I had suggested it was headed to the wasteland because you had suggested that a national policy of racism was better than this, and usually statements like that are frowned upon.

Like dynamicv said above, I'm no fan of Zuma, but you seem to be taking this a bit extreme. I doubt that your wife's family will be slaughtered. Though it is a bit frightening knowing that some Afrikaaners are pining for the return of apartheid.

Yes, but he raped a woman because she "asked for it by wearing a short skirt." That's not frightening is it?

Based on what? The tales you've heard from a bunch of bitter white Afrikaaners, raging against how much worse things are in "The New South Africa". As I said, get some perspective.

I'm no fan. I also think he is guilty of the corruption charges and his ascension will split the ANC. However, your initial post is crossing the line between dislike of Zuma and racism towards the Zulu nation.
