View Full Version : FS/FT: iMac G5 2.1Ghz 1.5GB 250GB

I have the last of the G5s in the 20" iMac and this machine has been nothing short of amazing. Alas, I am going to be travelling for the next 6 months and need a laptop instead and would like to, ideally, trade for a Macbook(newer). I already have a 2GB RAM chip to put in the Macbook(wrong RAM, I originally got for this machine).
It has 10.4.11 and all updates and I can wipe clean. It is in great shape and I'd even include the iRain 360 swivel stand which is pretty darn sweet for being able to move around the base to show people things.

Would you consider a trade for a 15.4" Macbook Pro 2.16 Ghz 100 GB? Unit is in good condition, but is out of warranty. Has 1 GB RAM. I love the G5 iMac and would really like to have one again.

Sure. Message me specs and I'll take a look. Is this the version that takes 3GB or 4GB of RAM?

I'm afraid the MacBook Pro developed a problem with the SD. Will not play through movies without restarting. Could be a serious problem. RAM is limited t max of 3GB.
