I guess I understood it incorrectly. I thought you had to get the 1 for LaunchBar PLUS the 2 for Notebook to get it. Thanks for the correction, maybe I'll get it after all :) .

If you want notebook, you need to purchase the bundle. Then send the link to your friends. Two of your friends then need to buy the bundle through that link. I'm offering to be one of those friends.

Unfortunately, I already have a taker. Sorry.

I'm running the free trial now and really like it, that's why I put up my invite, hopefully to save me from having to buy it. You have to buy the MacHeist bundle, then go in and sign up and get the invite link. If two people use your invite link to buy the bundle, you get LaunchBar and Notebook free. If you'd click on my invite link, I'd definitely appreciate it. If I get my two, I'll change my post here and on the other forum I posted it at to one of your links to help someone else get the free apps.

It's just a shame that their support sucks.

I attempted to purchase the bundle. Each time, I was presented with the error message 'the order has not been processed'. I tried 4 times more, making sure my details were correct each time (incorrectly assuming it was me doing something wrong), but no dice.

Then I check my credit card statement (thankfully, I have a thing about only using my credit card for online purchases). I have been charged for 4 bundles.

This is surprising, as I have received nothing in the form of applications/software. I have emailed their support team various times in the last 24 hours and have absolutely zero response.

In their forums, I am not the only one with this exact same issue - yet everyone of us is being ignored. Clearly, they have a problem with their payment processing system, but they are too busy advertising the bundle to actually resolve anything.

It would seem they like to take your money, and then do nothing. Tomorrow morning, I am reporting this to my credit card provider as fraud.

I would stay away from this until they manage to resolve the problems and apologise to the large number of people they have overcharged.

If you want notebook, you need to purchase the bundle.

It should be noted, you do NOT need to buy the bundle first. You just need to sign up to the site to get a referral code. Once you get this code, you can give it to someone to follow.

If you do it this way you can trade referrals rather than just following one persons and hoping somebody will follow yours eventually. At least you are guaranteed one of your two referrals that way.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had problems but it is pretty safe to say that your problem is rare when you consider the thousands of bundles purchased. I won't disagree that the support should be better but that as with any online purchases stuff can happen.

I've gotten mine and have a post in another forum that I can change to someone else's link...first person to respond and say they still need referrals, I guess, since I have no idea where in this thread to start to try to find someone who still needs them.

It has been 48 hours now and no response.

This is an absolute farce, and there are a significant number of people on the forum having the same issue. We haven't even been given a time when this will be resolved as the organisers are ignoring the issue.

So for me, I was charged for 4 bundles, and have received nothing. I only wanted one bundle.

Sorry that you've been having such problems. This is reason I use a virtual CC number with a specific credit limit (i.e., $49) for things like this.

What a great idea. I clicked on a link in this thread and five minutes later I was downloading my first app. No problems with the purchase process and downloading most of the apps but the games were not so simple, although I am not really interested in them just curious.

Wingnuts2 is distributed via BitTorrent, can anyone recommend a good/easy client for this as I have no experience of using this method?

I was able to download it as a direct link a few days ago - maybe they were getting too much traffic?

It's huge, so I can see why they'd force BitTorrent (it was around 500MB!).

I suggest you use Transmission.
