Item was purchased in August of 2007 at a Local Applestore. Included is the iMac, all items included in box, and wireless keyboard (Aluminum), Wireless Mighty Mouse and 200GB External Drive (if you want them). The unit is a 2.4ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 24" LCD with 4GB of Ram/320GB Hard Drive (Internal)/200GB Hard Drive (External). The iMac has 3 Year AppleCare included. Included software is preinstalled copy of Leopard + Restore Disks from original iMac purchase + legit copy of iWork 08. I bought this system for over $2500 just about 6 months ago. The iMac will ship in original box with original packaging including all original accessories/manuals/etc. I am also including a Mini DVI->DVI Adapter for use with the iMac (Sells new for $19).
I am interested in cash (make some offers) or a straight up trade for a 2.2ghz MacBook Pro or I'll throw in some cash if you also have AppleCare. I'm also interested in a Black MacBook. Preferably a newer 2.2ghz SR Black MacBook. I would trade the iMac for a 2.2ghz Black Macbook + Cash. However, I'll entertain any legitimate offers. Thanks for looking guys!

Apple has refurbs w/ 1GB RAM for $1549.
OWC (http://www.macsales.com) has 4GB kit (2x2gb) for $99. AppleCare is $169.
So to get an equalivent machine from Apple and OWC it would be $1817 + tax.
Maybe $1700 for yours?? It maybe be easier to part out the RAM and lower your price.

Sorry, that's a bit low and I'm not interested in any trades for Desktops, only laptops. I am going off to school and am interested in a laptop for notes taking. Thanks for the offer though!

Some more specs would be excellent as well as when it was purchased and if it has AppleCare or not. Depending on specs we may be able to work something out, but I think $500 is a bit too much. If others from the forum could help me out, I'd be appreciative. Keep in touch, I am definitely in the market for a MBP. I'm also open to black MacBooks. Thanks.

As mentioned already, its about $1550 from Apple. Since you've upgraded to 4GB ram I'd say $1550-1600 (maybe). As for the MBP trade, that's not a fair trade. Considering they are $1700 refurbished for the 2.2.
If you base both iMac and MBP on refurb prices then the trade would be: iMac + $100 for the MBP (I accounted for the 4GB ram in the iMac) and 2GB for the MBP.

Would it be unfair Phungy to add about $99 to the value of my mac for the AppleCare?

Item is now For Trade, no longer is it a Feeler. I hope this doesn't count as bumping up my thread since it was either edit this or start a new one (which is a big no no on forums I heard :)) Thanks guys!

I have a Black MacBook (I believe specs are in my sig but will post anyways)
SR 2.2 GHz, 160 GB, 4GB RAM, Has first year applecare through Dec. 2008, Battery cycles only at 6, pretty much brand new. No scratches, perfect condition, still have box with all accessories, packing etc... Would include incase carrying case (bought from apple a month ago for $65 I believe), and 120GB Passport HD if you wanted it (or you could keep your hard drive and I keep mine)...
I wouldn't need the wireless mouse or anything else, already have wireless mouse and keyboard...
Let me know what you are thinking

This is still available. I'm leaning now towards just straight up selling it if possible. Thanks.

ascham87 is a great seller. Ships right away and the VMODA Vibe Duos he sold me a couple of weeks ago were exactly as he described. :)

I am interested in the wireless keyboard and mouse if you are parting out. Or find a deal where the buyer does not want them.

Interested in a trade for non SR models?
I have a MacBook Pro 2.16 CD 15" with AppleCare until late 2009 I could trade you. We can probably add some cash or other Apple stuff to the mix.
Or I also have a MacBook Pro 2.33 C2D 15" under original warranty that I might be willing to trade straight up?

Interested in the Dell Latitude in my sig? It's pretty powerful, high res (1920x1200), and it's got a docking station, and I'd toss in a iBook G3 lime if you wanted too!

I'd love the Wireless Mighty Mouse, if you still have it. PM, I'm ready when you are.
