I realize that this is probably not the best place to ask this, but it is the only mac forum where I have an account. If you have a suggestion as to where I should go for help, I'd be happy to hear it.
Today, my TiBook (667MHz) spontaneously stopped working. It was working fine all day, and I just went to wake it up and it was dead. When I tried to restart it (by holding the power button down for 5 seconds) it beeps three times and does not start.
According to Apple's webpage, three beeps at startup means that no RAM passed testing.
I have 2 512 Mb DIMMs in there, and they've been working fine for almost two years. Why would both of them go spontaneously bad at the same time?
What should I do? This is rather a crisis for me, as I use that computer heavily every day.
Help! Help!
