It's a couple of months old but I never used the 120GB hard drive that came with my white MacBook. As soon as I got the computer, I upgraded the hard drive to a 200GB 7200rpm drive. I kept it in an anti-static bag in case I needed warranty service. I've thought about buying an external enclosure, but don't really need another external drive. I thought I'd see if I can find it a new home. How much could I get for it?

Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010150380+1309721216&name=120GB) has them for around $70 so subtract maybe $20?

Personally, I wouldn't sell it. Basically, if anything goes wrong with your MacBook (even cracked casing), Apple may blame it on you swapping the hard drive, so it's worth keeping hold of it, so you can switch them back if something goes wrong.

You could buy a cheap 2.5" SATA enclosure and use it as an external hard drive?

The hard drives in the Macbooks are meant to be user-replaceable and require no disassembly of the unit.
