I've got an old Bondi Blue iMac sitting around collecting dust (actually I just cleaned it up) and I'd like to see how much I can get for it. It has a 233 MHz G3 processor, 96 MB of RAM, a 4 GB hard drive, and a tray-loading CD-ROM drive.

I will include all the original manuals, plus a little Apple CD booklet containing the Mac OS 8.5 software restore and install discs, Williams-Sonoma "Guide to Good Cooking" CD, Quicken Deluxe 98, Adobe PageMill 3.0, a game called MDK, and Kai's Photo Soap SE. I may or may not include the matching Apple keyboard, but I will definitely include the puck mouse.

The iMac is in great condition. The only problem I see with it is that the latch on the "port door" on the side is broken, so it won't always stay closed. This is a minor issue though.

I'm not sure if this can be classified as a collector's item or not, but I'd say it may be since it includes all the original software and manuals.

I've also upgraded it to OS X Panther with no problems. I just had to put more memory in it before I attempted installing it. Panther requires at least 128 MB of memory. I put 256 MB in it to test it and it ran pretty well.

If you're in the Rochester, NY area and would like to pick it up, I can sell it for a much reduced price since there are no shipping costs.

Anyway, go ahead and throw some figures out for me. I have no idea how much I can get for it. And if you want some pictures, ask me and I'll post some.

It will have to be "collector" item due to the fact that these only take up to 512 mb ram total. I would say ~$20 but it might be good to check with lilstewart who sold a similar one a month ago.

For whoever buys this, I have somewhere a 333 MHz G3 chip for these models and the 4MB VRAM upgrade that I pulled from a 333 with a dead analog board, that I'd be willing to let go for really, really cheap. (Its just sitting in an anti-static bag.)

Though it was PC133 whereas the original RAM was PC100. Also, the system profiler wasn't sure exactly what type of RAM it was, so it may or may not be able to see more than 256 MB of memory. For whoever buys this, I have somewhere a 333 MHz G3 chip for these models and the 4MB VRAM upgrade that I pulled from a 333 with a dead analog board, that I'd be willing to let go for really, really cheap. I was thinking of trying to upgrade it a bit before I sell it if I could find parts for cheap enough.
