Has anyone tried the new mic?

im not sure if its out or not but i was just wondering how good is the mic and if anyone has used it?

the main question is can i sit about 5 metres away (~450") and still get a clear recording or not?

Which mic are you talking about? And 5 meters is around 15 to 20 feet, not 450 feet.

as was posted in the other thread like this, the mic is not in stores yet and is not shipping yet (apple store gives it 7-10 days but i think its optimistic, considering belkin's site doesn't give a target date). and as above, 5 meters is not 450 feet. and i almost guarantee it won't record from that distance. it's designed for handheld voice memos, short little notes.
