no this just converts the ADC port on your video card to DVI. this will NOT hook up a ADC cinema display to a dvi video card. those require extra power adapters and cost quite a bit more.

besides, ADC is a DVI anyways, just has extra pins to carry the data and power for the monitor.

OP, look to sell it for around $10-15 shipped on here. i'd like to get one but only need it temporary till i get another video card. hate swapping the vga cables between the mac and xbox 360.

I just bought a 24" monitor (1920x1200) with vga and dvi inputs. My g4 has 2 video cards. One card on has dvi and vga, but only displays up to 1280 x 1024. I can get 1920 x 1200 on the other card that has adc and vga. See my problem.
I believe your adapter should work for my needs. Let me know how to buy it from you.
