View Full Version : WTT / Feeler - iPod HiFi

Yeah, some might think I am nuts, but...
I have a pristine iPod HiFi with original packaging, all the adapters, remote, etc. that is taking up space in my closet. While I am very pleased with it, my situation is such that the intended use (in an office that I can secure) has not occurred, meaning I can't take it to work as I had originally intended.
I may be reaching a bit, but considering the rarity of these, I am thinking a trade for an iPhone or iPod Touch would be a possibility if someone is nutty enough to do it.
Otherwise, I'm wondering what this might be worth in the current market.

I'll offer you $200 shipped for it.
Let me know...

Thanks, but considering it weighs about 20 pounds, shipping will be substantial. And that's without the eight D cells in it, too. I'll pass.
That being said, I would certainly entertain a trade for an iPod Touch or 4G iPhone, as silly as it might sound. After all, I would describe this as nearly new condition-wise, and for those really AR folks I have all the original boxes, shipping materials, etc.

To be honest I had totally forgotten I had it until I saw a thread looking for one. I don't need the cash, therefore, I changed the thread title to include trades. If they are commanding big $$ on eBay, maybe someone wants to part with an iPod Touch or an iPhone they no longer want.

Yikes! A "good" amount is right! There is a new one that has three days left on the auction and it's currently at $300 with $40 for shipping.
I might be able to sell mine there and use the proceeds to buy an iPhone...
Thanks!

Yes, the iPod Hi-Fi plugs into the wall.

Yes, it plugs directly into the wall without a separate brick or "wall wart" and will also run on six "D" cell batteries as well. It even charges the iPod when on batteries, too.
