Brand new this is a $649.00 laptop. Now it is at best a $200 laptop. Sad, but that is the truth. Hope this helps.

He can probably get around 400-500 on eBay or Craigslist.

It isnt that old of a laptop, with its Core 2 Duo microprocessor and 2GB of RAM.

Looking at the specs, if you cant sell it you can always turn it into a Hackintosh. :3

Core Duo 2mb cache not Core 2 Duo (which has 4mb, iirc)
